Welcome to Study Buddy Tutoring. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed - not just academically, but in confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Founded by two experienced and fully qualified primary school teachers, our mission is to support children during a critical stage of their educational journey: Key Stage 2, with a particular focus on SATs preparation and the 11+ entrance exams.
About Us
We understand the pressures that come with these assessments - for both students and parents - and we're here to help make the process not only manageable, but genuinely rewarding. Our sessions are designed to build strong foundations in core subjects like English, Maths and Reasoning, while also encouraging critical thinking, resilience and self-belief.
What truly sets us apart is our commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child feels seen, heard, and supported. We keep our group sizes to no more than 20 students per session. This is to ensure that each student receives the individual attention they need while also benefitting from the motivation and sense of belonging of learning alongside their peers.
Location
Our sessions take place in person at Holy Rood Primary School, a familiar and welcoming setting that allows children to feel at ease and ready to learn. With years of classroom experience behind us, we know how to connect with young learners, adapt to their individual needs and make lessons engaging, interactive, and purposeful.
